1. Nearing the end of discussion
Mon, Oct 4, 1999 - 1:47 AM/EST
rain
Hello again group 11. We're very near the end of our time together. I've enjoyed the opportunity to share with those of you who contributed to the discussions. I wish I felt more like we had really connected. We appear to have more questions than answers, but at least we're asking the tough questions. To me, that indicates acknowledging a problem exists. I think one of the dangers here is to become complacent. For our own sake, and the sakes of our children, let us not be complacent PLEASE.

I also enjoyed the sharing of ideas that we
had. I welcomed all the responses that were
given, even the ones that didn't agree with
me. I liked the fact that you could speak
without being censored. I will miss all of
you. If any of you are interested in keeping
in touch, I will give anyone who wants it, my
email address. Bye bye, it's been real.

Wow, Annetta! I agree with you :)
But seriously, I will miss this discussion, too. I looked forward to logging on every day to see what controversial topic was up next!
Yes, Annetta, I would like your e-mail, and anyone else who feels comfortable giving out their e-mail address.
Mine is britt1818@yahoo.com
Hope to hear from you all!

Just wondering Britt did you send everyone the email about where are the men or did you just send it to the people you thought were men?

Let me also say i had a wonderful time reading and adding input to our discussions. It's nice to know someone actually cares about what you think! I will miss this group very much and my email address is rclarke@interport.net if anyone wants to keep in touch. Wow i didn't even realize it was Oct.4th.
6. Thanks

I just want to say thanks to all of you for expressing your HONEST opinions. I never thought about some of these issues and it has really opened a lot of discussions at our house. I'll miss this place, but I too would love to continue the discussion from time to time. My email is tnaortiz@netzero.net.
THANKS!!

I didn't do that! I opened my e-mail and I got the same message! I guess the creators of the dialogues saw it and sent it to everyone in the group. I don't know anyone's e-mail address to do that! (well, now I know some, but you know....)
8. e-mail addresses

My friends, please remember that the posts here can be read by anyone viewing the site. If you want your e-mail address disseminated to the group, perhaps contacting weblab is the better way to go. They can publicize your address to the group like they did britt's topic #13 post.
Judging from some of the posts I've seen in 'soapbox', there are people out there to whom you might not want to give email access. Something to think about.
9. Thank You
Tue, Oct 5, 1999 - 10:12 AM/EST
I have appreciated the opportunity to express my
opinions on a number of subjects. However, what
I appreciated even more was the opportunity to
read what you thought. I hope for all of you a
life filled with peace, joy, and happiness.

Rain, you brought up a good point. I sent
a message to the producers about that and
I am going to wait and see what they say,
because you are right about not wanting
some people to have an email address.

I apologize to all of you for bringing
up the email address thing. I honestly
didn't think about the wackos. To Kjsmama,
Britt, and Ravenc1, I will send each of
you and email and you can get mine that
way. Sorry!
12. Oh Well....

Hey! I just figure e-mail is (sort of) anonymous, and if some crazy a-hole sends me something, I'll just block the address :)
But Ken would say, "There you go, being naive again!" So I'd have some psycho stalker after me, threatening me and throwing rocks at my window, and I'd just have to move and change my name....
Just kidding :)

What a great opportunity this has been. Even though I didn't post as often as I would have liked; it was inspiring to read such thought-provoking posts. For all of our differences, we are so very much alike--we care to want to make a difference!

It says closing October 8th, so does that mean up until 12:00 am tomorrow we can log on or is it over after tonight.

I also sent a message to welcome@weblab.org requesting that they monitor this topic and put the people together who request it.
Thank you to britt, revenc1, and kjsmama for boldly giving us your e addresses. I'll be in touch soon.
