shannon augusta , Georgia I am a 37 yr old white woman married to a sucessful black man for 10 years now. We have 2 small children who are biracial. The elder is very light skinned and the 2nd is darker. I am constantly amazed at how these children are perceived by the public in our southern state. We try very hard to have friends of both races but seem to be more accepted by the more educacted on either side.
